Julio Caro is a veteran entertainment executive with expertise in production, creative management, and distribution. He currently advises AMSI Entertainment, where recent projects include In Whose Name? (directed by Nico Ballesteros) and the Sundance award-winning Selena y Los Dinos (directed by Isabel Castro, releasing on Netflix in November 2025). A former co-founder of Nuyorican Productions with Jennifer Lopez, Caro has worked on films such as El Cantante, Shall We Dance, and Monster-in-Law, and developed Latin content for platforms including Netflix and YouTube Originals. He began his career with Radical Media, producing Erskineville Kings (2002) starring Hugh Jackman and Joel Edgerton, and is a graduate of Cornell University. Of Dominican heritage, he is fluent in Spanish.
